GriefShare Team Recruitment

Have you experienced God’s healing after losing a loved one?

Would you like to help others do the same?

Become part of our GriefShare Ministry Team! You do not need to be a counselor, teacher or have a degree. We will provide you with the training you need and support as you minister to those facing the pain of grief.

Information Meeting: Sunday, August 25, 12p – 1p

Volunteer Training: Saturday, September 14, 9a – 12p

Where: 201 W. Sierra Madre Blvd. in Sierra Madre

Note: Refreshments will be served.

Grief Share is a 13-week, small group seminar providing help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend.

Being a part of this much-needed ministry team is a wonderful opportunity to come alongside those within our own church family and to reach out to people in our community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Helping with registration and keeping records

  • Welcoming participants

  • Preparing, setting up and tearing down refreshments

  • Seeing participants to the door and back to their cars

  • Working with other facilitators, learning new skills

For more inquiries, please contact Susan Hill at (626) 862-2020 or visit www.griefshare.org.
