What is the service like?

At Christ Church our worship is both ancient and modern, historically rooted and culturally relevant. Our gatherings consist of singing (both hymns and contemporary songs), prayer, scripture reading, communion, and expository preaching. We believe that our weekly liturgy is an important part of our formation as followers of Jesus.

Everyone is welcome! If you are joining us this weekend and you have any special needs or considerations feel free to contact us in advance.

Is there a dress code?

We have a diverse group of people from a variety of walks of life who come dressed in everything from flip flops and a pair of shorts to a dress or a suit and tie. Come in whatever feels most comfortable.

What do you have for children?

Every Sunday we have Kids Crew! Our 9a service has classes for students in 5th grade and under. Kids engage in Bible lessons and creative play in a safe and loving environment. Our kid’s ministry is led by a team of well-screened, well-trained teachers and helpers. Click the link below to learn more.

What do you have for students?

We have a youth gathering for students 6th-12th grade on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the New Life Center (North Room) for an evening of worship, teaching, and games. For more information contact our Pastoral Residents for Youth, John Sagherian & Wisdom Mira.

WHAT ABOUT YOUNG ADULTS?

The Young Adults at Christ Church gather every Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. in the New Life Center (North Room).  We gather around food, worship and interactive teaching that encourages questions and open discussion. You will also see us around on Sunday mornings serving and attending the service. For more information, contact our Pastoral Resident for Young Adults, Wisdom Mira.

Where do I park?

Parking is available in the lot behind the church building (with entrances of W. Sierra Madre Blvd. as well as Mariposa St.) Additional parking can be found on the street and in the parking lot behind North Chapel (white chapel with steeple) on the north side of W. Sierra Madre Blvd.
